United Way Golf Scramble
September 10th, 2007 Posted in La Grande Real EstateEach year, United Way hosts a golf tournament at the Buffalo Peak course in Union. United Way is a fundraising organization whose sole purpose is to make it easy for people to support local non-profit agencies. By making one contribution to United Way of Union County, you are supporting the thirteen local agencies listed below:
Neighbor to Neighbor - Union County C.A.S.A. - Shelter from the Storm - American Red Cross - Union Co. Search & Rescue - Elgin Food Bank - Mt. Emily Safe Center - Kids Club - The Salvation Army - Girl Scouts - Boy Scouts - North Powder Food Bank - Union Cove Food Bank This year the tournament raised $13,400, a record for this annual event.After the tournament, golfers enjoyed dinner and an auction. This event is a great way for people to have fun while helping their community.
